Banzulu - Nobody Move

We check out none60's latest signing from across the pond. Introducing Banzulu...

Florida based production outfit Banzulu land with a bang for their debut release on Silent Dust’s none60 imprint with seriously gully bang.

As key members of their home state’s innovative SUB:CULTURE collective, Banzulu AKA Abe Vasquez and Caleb Selman have been fundamental to the growing Florida Footwork scene. Weaving Jungle, Grime and Bass influences with Juke, the duo are now making waves on both sides of the pond.

The tinkering rhythm of “Gal Dem” beds in the full bodied bass and twisted-out-of-shape Ragga warblings while Juke percussion fast forwards and slows down the track creating a call and response to keep the dance moving.

Make no mistake. Despite the title “Nobody Move”, everyone is going to get hurt by this track. More toasted vocals, dancehall sensibilities and Ragga swagger ensure that this dubbed out number follows the pace of it’s counterpart. Cool kid, connoisseur or roughneck, get to know about Banzulu.
